Fact of the day...... on 20:53 - Mar 12 by Pablokuqi
What does to this say about me but I love this fact. Thanks.
I think it’s really interesting. Working in Parliament Street, I walked past Westminster Abbey for 13 years and when the bells were rung on occasions when I was walking past on the way home, it always gave me buzz, hearing a sound (from the oldest bells) that people had heard hundreds of years ago.

Not sure if you’ve come across this guy in Twitter but he has a fascination with Suffolk churches, given how many old ones Ipswich has its interesting:

My Nan can crack a walnut behind her knee. She’s old and lives in Ipswich.
You can have that interesting fact for tomorrow if you want.

My grandad wrote the Lord’s Prayer seven times on the back of a small old fashioned postage stamp in perfect old style writing. You could only read it with a magnifying glass.
The word ‘why?’ always leapt to mind. Well, he was Norfolk born and bred I suppose...

Is it green?
Not to turn this into some sort of Suffolk association game but the house that was the subject of Shakin Stevens #1 hit single ‘This Ole House’ is just outside Bury St Edmunds. Came on the market very recently actually.
Westminster I can accept, but being out historied by Saffron Walden is a bit much.
I shall be expecting more of this sort of thing in the upcoming [non-match] days.
I say non-match because obviously it would soon be lost in the furore otherwise.
Saffron Walden is one of my favourite small market towns in the country. Great history in combination with Audley End. Some interesting and ancient buildings and the best church in Essex.
Mind you it is only just in Essex right near the Hertfordshire border and only about 8 miles from the nearest point in Suffolk.
