The US takeover is common knowledge now isn't it? so it's not too much of a tease, it's in the latter stages of going through. Looks like we'll be in new hands for the summer.
Does beg the question when it'll get announced though, maybe there's some thought around not disturbing the status quo around the players thoughts of new contracts etc right now given we've got a lot to play for. Or maybe they'll time it with ST renewals and make a big fan fare around it.

Not just that but where has all this engagement suddenly come from? It’s great to see but has ME suddenly had an epiphany!
I suspect the social media person was fed up of getting multiple Lambert out replies to previous engagement. Which of course they aren't getting now, so engagement has increased again.

This is far from coincidence or clutching from straws, although the SMM wouldn't know anything about the takeover unless something is due to be announced today.
