Chill out everyone... we came across a Fleetwood team playing out of their skins on 21:54 - Mar 16 by noggin | Agreed. I haven't seen any evidence that he's a good player. |
He's shown plenty. He can play footy. Anyone can see that. Is he consistent enough, does he want it enough, does he need to play in a team full of certain players, does he need too much revolving around him, can he be coached, etc... I don't know... but I know he's a good player, you can see it. The problem is he's only effective in a very specific setup, but that's the case with loads of players even at the top level surely? In Dozzers case currently, I fear for him (and us) cos he can't really tackle, and if any holding responsibility is put on him he struggles. He looked excellent when pushed higher up the field. People say he's "not a kid" any more. Ridiculous. Who are they comparing him to? Rooney? Foden? He is very much a "kid" in pro football terms at the level he will play (not England any more, but Champ no probs). Him not being Pirlo or Scholes does not mean he ain't good... and I know you didn't say that.

Chill out everyone... we came across a Fleetwood team playing out of their skins on 21:49 - Mar 16 by chrismakin | For the sake of PC I wish we weren't anywhere near the playoffs. Hes on a hiding to nothing. Theres way to much expectation around and it's not healthy. The squad isnt good enough. We are getting 1.5 days training in per week. It's going to take a long time and a squad overhaul to get going in a positive direction. |
Like for like subsitutions, excactly like lambert, no tactical changes, cook gets a down vote tonight, I know our bench was limited one up top dosent work but he made no effort to change it, I'm sure long term he will get it right,

Chill out everyone... we came across a Fleetwood team playing out of their skins on 22:06 - Mar 16 by BluedanW | Unless cook installs a new captain next season we will never improve. Thank you Chambo but time to let somebody else take over. Then we need to pretty much clear the whole squad out. Not sure which players if any id keep |
It's not Chambers who's been setting transfer policy, club strategy, employing managers, picking tactics and teams, coaching or doing the motivational stuff. I appreciate he's a top bloke, but he's not doing all that.

No but Badger, when was the last time you saw Chambers screaming at the lads to get forwards, or sort themselves out etc Even more so with I follow and ability to hear everything, we should be hearing him when we are losing, but you don't. Must admit, even our players are a quiet bunch too.

WE WERE SH!T on 00:41 - Mar 17 with 422 views | haynes_toe1 | Evans is an unmitigated disaster. However if I was him I'd be pretty annoyed that after sacking Lambert, Cook is yet to show a single sign of tactical nous, flexibility, ability to motivate or ability to change a game. I'm sure after coming in on the back of a 3 win streak both Cook and Evans would have been expecting to be able to string together a few more positive results

you are so desperate for him to fail aren't you Another bringing up the 3 game winning spree lets just remember part of that was Hull, a side at the time lower in the form tables than we were, Accrington, the same, Doncaster were in similar form at the time. Since PC been here We've had Gillingham - 5th in the form table Lost Fleetwood - 4th in the form table Lost Plymouth - 24th in the form table Won Basically follows previous results against sides 'better' than us at the time of playing them, with the same squad It's good enough to win the games against those who are struggling themselves, but put the team up against anyone on form and it crumbles. Of course i'm not desperate for him to fail. But unlike you who clearly falls in love with any new manager and assumes they can do no wrong, I'm actually capable of taking a step back and objectively commenting on what the manager has done so far. I get people like him but he's been hyped too much. To the point people have made things up about him. I got told he got Portsmouth promoted to the championship. As far as I can see he didn't. He's been a lower league manager with one promotion from the third tier. I really hope he does well but just because we've got him doesn't suddenly make him the messiah. I'm comfortable commenting objectively game by game. I done it with Lambert and got abuse on here for daring to be critical. Maybe some on here should learn to listen, after I was proven comprehensively correct on that one.

You keep saying any despite the fact I was very verbal about not liking hursts appointment and the same with Lambert, so not sure what you're on about there.
