Good to have Skuse back in the team..... on 10:25 - Mar 17 by textbackup | I know we are in a different world to Leicester, but they were showing them on MOTD, and something like 90% of their goals come from 3/4 passes. the passes have real intent, played into clever areas, and players know where to run. our lot, as you say, pass in stupid areas that you can see will end in a throw in. |
When we retain possession all we do is just delay giving it away rather than look dangerous with it

The fact Huws was not deemed ready to make the line up is damning. Chambers has been outstripped at right back more and more as the season has gone on. I’d be fine with him at centre back but he does not suit Cook’s system whatsoever, especially in an attacking sense. Both were exposed by being selected and the positioning yesterday - I fear the same thing will happen on Saturday.

Really frustrates me because I was an attacking player, some of the passes you just look at and think what is the point? What does the pass gain you? Even sometime have you you given your team mate a chance? Played to his best football, something to run on to etc. It is just lazy and aimless in terms of making it a pass as part of a bigger move with intent to score. It goes as far as I made a pass job done

It’s called going through the motions. PC doesn’t approve of that. [Post edited 17 Mar 2021 10:58]
