Wouldn´t say most are happy with us not making the playoffs. But with the displays against Gillingham and Fleetwood, its becoming clear for many that our squad maybe isn´t that good (it wasn´t ALL Lamberts fault) and a LOT of work is needed. I still think we have a chance, but players need to lift themself, Cook need to find the right combo of players, also we need a little luck. | | | |

They were my pick too, but I'm not disappointed with Cook.
Don't think it was budget, more the fact that Cook has had a relationship with Evans for a number of years, so was probably always going to take the reins at some point. |  |
