Did you know Life on Mars was planned as 3 series but John Simms pulled out after 2 for 'personal reasons', and has since he regrets doing that.

It was than revamped as Ashes to Ashes with the 3rd series of that basically being what the 3 series of Life of Mars would have been

There have been plans to do a series set in late 90's but as yet it hasn't got very far
