Salmond's approval rating is down the toilet (-60%) so I doubt he'll have a massive impact. The fact he's standing only on the list could mean that some nationalists could theoretically tactically vote SNP in the constituency and Salmond on the list to give them more pro-indpendence seats, but given the shenanigans of the last few weeks, I doubt many are willing to give their support to both Salmond and Sturgeon.
