"Our squad's too big". Yep "Hurst was a massive error". Yep "Lambert added to rather than trimmed an already bloated squad". Yep "Lambert didn't know what he was doing". Pretty much. "Although unfair on some individuals the players as a group don't have the right attitude". So it would appear. "The players lack confidence". Yep "The club lacks the appropriate structure for 'the modern game'". Almost certainly "Evans has too much control for a football business naif and spends too little time exercising it". Seemingly so.
To a lesser or greater extent all of these seem to me to be playing/have played a part in seeing Town where they are and all need to be put right. Hurst and Lambert have gone but their and Evans' legacy live on.
Talk about patient, this will take years to correct.
