Anyone else watch it tonight? From Christchurch Park Mansion. There was a collection of posters for Bluesville from the early/mid 60s. They were from The Baths Hall, venue for the bigger names rather than The Manor Baalroom the more usual venue. Valued at around £500 each.

That's some great boast. Not many people can say they've ever seen him. Hats off to you.

Was ‘The Baths Hall’, St Matthews baths where they used to put a floor over the pool?

Not that I recall, but I think I would have blocked that from my memory. I can remember the numbers that Buddy did though.

Hence the Led Zeppelin bootleg titled 'In At The Deep End' live from the Bath Hall in 1971 - I was there.

When was this... 1958? If you don't mind me asking you must've been a youngster.

Absolutely... I got free tickets. Was about 14 at the time. I always remember him getting a young blond woman on stage and sticking a red rose between her teeth. I bet that poor woman has nightmares now.

Just spoke to my mum who mentioned seeing this on Antiques Roadshow and having been to many of the gigs on the posters. She also went to The Manor Ballroom too apparently.
