Steady jeera mate, not sure they have posted anything here or elsewhere to warrant that response. Unless I've missed something?

I too think that brexit is an utterly avoidable mess, but its not unreasonable for some people to disagree with that.

Less than five years ago I was being castigated and hounded around various threads for simply posting the opinion that I thought that the vote to leave the European Union was a big mistake (and for pointing out that it was a slim margin on less than a three quarters turnout that did not even represent a majority of the electorate, let alone the population.) If anything jeera has been quite restrained in his highlighting of what appear to be 'weasel words' from an apparently recent arrival to this forum.

Good morning WWZ - I appreciate your addition to the thread. I guess my main concern is what has the fact that I am a recent arrival got to do with anything.
Then of course I only originally joined this thread because it made me laugh and it resulted in the cavalry coming over the hill. It is almost like - hey what is a Brexit voter doing here.
Of to the allotment now - damn broad beans still haven't appeared.
Enjoy your day...

You are probably right, or it is a bot. It is just that I do not like to see half truths going unchallenged. The weakness of the reply I got goes some way to showing that up, and I can see that the links that jeera posted were not just pasted on without a bit of thought; but if I carry on with this I will just be getting pulled down a rabbit hole.

Like a lot of new arrivals, this rather vinegary individual already seemed to know the board and its members inside out from day one. Hmmm. He also mentions a particular veg that another departed member was not very keen on. As far as troll accounts go, this one is not very entertaining and certainly not worthy of your time, dear chap.

The same poster recently 'joined' the site and has used a good half of his posts to slag off the board's members.

On top of that just two days ago accused the board of collectively sitting at their PCs whining about the world but doing nothing.

That's some insult for a board that has been active in helping other people, an insult to every marathon that's been run, every campaign, every fundraiser and ever pound donated to good causes. An insult to someone who spent nights on the streets to raise money and awareness for homeless people.

Last year alone saw members shopping for others, working at food banks, collecting stuff in person - even bags when there was a shortage - and some tool pops along and has the front to come out with that crap.

Then crows about people going bust as a bit of an 'inconvenience'.

He's owed nothing in the way of good manners.

Then you've got morons like Glasgow agreeing with him with his unwelcome attention as usual.

Leopards and spots and all that.

Jeera - if you are going to keep bashing away at me and any others that have different views to you, then please try and be accurate in your defamation. i have repeated below what I said in my original post on the subject of killing the bill and included myself in the rhetoric. I also said the respect of those on TWTD I have for those that go out of their way to help one another.
Until this is designated as a site for those with left or centre left views only I will continue to make an occasional contribution.

Oh and please inform footers (I can not be bothered to post again) that I was genuinely at my allotment and am concerned that my broad beans are not through. As for being a Troll, Bot, whatever, then I have not the faintest idea what either of them are.
Happy Days...

It is an excellent point that you make. We are the problem perhaps, as most of us folk who have genuine reasons to support something like this, just bang away on our keyboards and actually achieve nowt - now if we were to join the demonstration think of the difference it would make. There are loads of people on here with strong opinions - how many have actually tried to do something to change society -
I demonstrated once and only once....
