sorry if this has been mentioned before in 1 of the many pages of the many threads... but with the thought of this 'exciting summer' ahead, i was thinking.
ME has said he is not selling, yet we still see things going on regarding Gamechanger etc
what are the chances that either...
1. ME is only selling half the club, and planning on sticking around, becoming the face of it, a chairman if you like, but with so much more investment to play with...
or
2. maybe ME is involved with Gamechanger, and is basically selling to himself as part of the group..?

im sure it must have been mentioned before, but there is a lot to go through

If there is any kind of sale it would see ME stepping back even further I am sure.

I am sure he wants to remain invested in the potential for the club to make money by getting back into the Premier League.

Hopefully it is clear to ME that the only way the club does move forward towards the Championship (let alone the Premier League) is by someone else taking a much more active role in running it. It is that, more than the investment, that gives me hope with Gamechanger clearly still being involved in negotiations.

To your second point there has been no indication he is involved with GC himself, no.

I wouldn't associate the 'exciting summer' comment with a takeover. That way lies only disappointment.

It seems like they're getting excited over a laptop, copy of FM22 and a pimply graduate with a sports analytics degree. (There's a bit more to it than that, but not much from our perspective).

Mind you, they have desperately needed to overhaul recruitment, so if this is a much wider initiative putting in place some decent structures then it could be a good thing. Although hamstrung if the transfer budget is practically zero.
