It sounds like he's OK and is expecting to be home in a week which is excellent news but there has been a huge surge in cases in Mumbai where he lives. Assuming he is fine it might focus some people into following the appropriate measures as he's godlike over there.

Yes, I know these things aren't measurable but he may well be the most famous person in India. Let's hope it does affect other folks' decision on the vaccine.

Firstly I have to say I believe none of the death figures from any country.

I dread to think what the real deaths are in places like India when they live in such close proximity in large cities.
