Grassroots football is back!! 06:22 - Apr 3 with 551 views | BelsteadCav | What Saturday mornings are for. Plus I get to watch both my boys as there’s a later kick off. All 3 of us are buzzing. Well me and the u12 are, the U14 smiled and actually spoke. Which is a huge reaction from a teenage boy stuck on a PS4 for months on end lol. This lockdown has been really hard for everyone, now there’s some light at the end of the tunnel.

Grassroots football is back!! on 07:34 - Apr 3 with 496 views | No_Moore_Kieffer | We were back on Tuesday for training then had a game Thursday and have another today. On Thursday we really looked like a group who hadn't played together for a long period of time, but who cares about performances right now
Grassroots football is back!! on 07:49 - Apr 3 with 475 views | Plums | Yep just writing out the team sheet for our U17 game this morning. It was great seeing all the boys back on the grass on Thursday. Not worried about results, just hoping everyone enjoys themselves and comes through uninjured.

Such a shame when a youth teams folds. Probably be a big difference, there’s massive Gaps in skill levels at that age

A major downside of youth football. Not missed this aspect one iota over the last few months. Then, there’s those egotistical managers who act like total weapons thinking they are managing Manchester City to their next PL title. Nevertheless, pleased to see the youngsters get the opportunity to play again and enjoy themselves and that’s what it should be all about.

Being a coach for 5 years I came across some right wang kers, win at all cost mentality at u8s!!! Sometimes the manager/coaches are worse than the parents
