Sometimes it’s not possible? We’ve not played like that for so long I’ve forgotten. Why do the club largely insist on comments like this when it sounds so out of step with what we are seeing with our eyes.

Rovers probably deserved more than they got on work rate alone.
One of their players, (McCormick?), ran about like a loon closing down 3 of our players on his own. And pretty much succeeded.
I looked at that and thought how even a lack of talent in our side could at least balanced somewhat by that level of commitment. |  |

Exactly this, Chambers is pretending that these players could actually perform given a chance....they can't even string two passes together.
