I must admit that I was surprised when Brenner said that Evans was at the game. Perhaps Phil could shed some light on how many away games he has attended this season. To travel to Rochdale on Easter Monday, and with Covid still an issue, to watch a match if you are completing the sale of the club in a couple of days time, does not really ring true |
He's been at a fair few, enough that I don't make a point of saying he's there, but difficult to tell how many definitively as we're not always in a position to see him. Was at Portsmouth definitely.

In your last post you said "J2 et al want to take a risk whatsoever."
Now it's "as from what i have seen you have constantly said you want this takeover to happen and think it is a risk worth taking."
Those are two very different stances. It's not the first time you've pushed this idea that i'm prepared to take any risk to get rid of Evans. My position, as I have stated repeatedly, is that from the limited info we have (we're never going to have a full dossier on any takeover group) I am happy to take the risk. I would not be happy to take any risk at all. In this specific instance I have looked at the info available and considered the overwhelmingly likely alternative (more of Evans running the club in the exact same way he has since he arrived) and decided that for me the club NEEDS this.
You have misquoted me repeatedly. There is a massive difference in what you and CM keep saying I have said and what I actually say. If you are doing it without meaning to then I would politely ask for you to stop from now on and give my actual view. I will also happily apologise for my comments which were out of complete frustration at people keep claiming I would happily risk the future of the club to get rid of Evans. That is not the case.
I am fully aware any takeover comes with risk. I don't see enough risk here to reject this takeover.
Again, I am happy to apologise. I don't really want to be put on ignore but i'm also not going to accept being misquoted repeatedly. If it's not deliberate and it stops then i'm happy to say sorry. |

Please note I don't troll and neither am I trying to deliberately antagonise you. I'm not a heavy poster here but would have hoped I'd posted enough for you not to see that...look at my posting history if in any doubt.
However I do I think you are way too hopeful on this takeover and seem overly expectant by that. Nothing wrong of course in that and some would say what's the point in anything if not to have hope. I just have massive reservations but that is only my opinion. Also i'm no Evans apologist or fan. I do appreciate how much he puts in each year, which could be as much or more even than any new backers will put in, but his decision making has killed this club. That we can all agree on I think?
From what i have been told nothing is likely to happen until Town's divisional status is confirmed, the valuation between Evans and buyer are way out currently...also related to divisional status and i have no reason not to believe what I've been told. But no one knows for sure, we all relying on various sources and hearsay
However even if something does go through, if you are thinking "wow I might see Town win something reasonable in my lifetime now" i think you are going to be disappointed. This is a consortium without a huge amount of money behind it. They are not the Abu Dhabi group, oil wealthy backers or Chinese investors etc with bagfuls of disposable income.
We would be relying on them making decent decisions and putting a good structure in place more than throwing the cash about. I hope for all Town fans hopes that this has the happy ending we all want, but i just don't think a huge amount will change in the short term even if Evans does sell to Gamechanger 20. |  |

I have no idea what the maximum amount of time that Chelsea house is legally allowed to be occupied for before its tax fraud but he definitely lives there at least some time during the year. And he doesn’t rent it out when he isn’t there.

The one in Vauxhall? Remember it well as it was on my cycle route to work. Someone on the ground was killed as well as the pilot. Thankfully I missed it by about half an hour. |  |
