Harrop chance. 11:34 - Apr 6 with 1655 viewscbower

Why take a touch six yards out? Just stab it home ffs! 6 loan signings and not one can be deemed remotely a success.. Recruitment at it's finest and at a minimum I'd say 12k per week in wages in total. Madness.

Harrop might be the worst bit of business of the Window. Not only was he counted as full wages for the cap, we also contrived to push out our only fit right back to accommodate him!

Again. There is no cap.
Although, yes, he has been pony.

At least that came at the end of some adventure and energy... on 11:55 - Apr 6 with 1523 viewsunstableblue

And Harrop was in the box. We had like 3 attacking moves of merit in 90mins.

We did twice that in 10mins against Plymouth.

Have to get some belief and energy into the side and its attacking intent. As Judge said in his interview, its just not happening, in part 'because players are trying too hard to impress the manager'!!

Worse than Thomas?

As good as the run from Dobra was he mishit a simple pass to Jackson who hammered a cross in when he might have passed, maybe Harrop didn't need a touch but even our one good move of the half had three failings.

It wasn't as bad as Wolfenden's miskick in the first half, that looked a half-decent chance.

Harrop looks a decent player, but one of form and confidence - and that was before he joined. I think Parrott has done ok as had McGuiness, but quite why we signed another player in a position we were already strong in is beyond me.

Think Dobra should have just shot to be honest.

Only loan signing with a bit of success is Parrott. 1 out of 6.

Was fine if the first touch was good. 18 inches back in the direction it came form, and he makes space for the shot. But it popped up in the air instead. Like about 30% of the first touches throughout the team yesterday.

He's not a worse player, but in terms of opportunity cost.
During the January Window we were operating under the previous salary and squad caps. Thomas was young enough not to count towards either, so all he costs us is the loan fee and his wages.
Harrop cost us the fee, wages and another senior player for the first team squad.

Yeah, for all of this talk of being coached in a negative way for so long, at the end of the day our recruitment has been pretty garbage. These loans came with none of Lamberts coaching drilled into them yet they show the same inability as the rest of the squad.

Talking of loans, what the heck happened to Matheson? Enthusiastic kid, happy to be here, played a couple games then very quickly disappeared with a mysterious injury.

That was our one big chance of the match. He just needed to divert it goalwards and instead he miscontrolled it and allowed the defender to nick it away from him. Harrop has been dreadful to be honest, sums up our muddled thinking as a club that we spent money on him and Thomas in January and neither has looked remotely capable of improving us.

Totally agreed, Harrop has been pretty anonymous, am surprised Cook has persisted with bringing him on because he's made absolutely no impact whatsoever on any game.
