In who's mind? Who'd pay £40 million for one of their players? They sank like a stone from the Premiership and while they are good in the Championship, I doubt the likes of Man City are queuing up to sign their best players.

They've got to make some kind of comment, & it was hardly likely to be complimentary!

We were literally complementing them last night after their 7-0 win. They're just a weird bunch; here's a few examples over the years:

1. Hated Mick McCarthy during his whole tenure as ITFC boss but as soon as he leaves they give the whole "Agent Mick" approach.

2. Exactly the same for Lambert. Hated his guts for joining us but as soon as he was sacked... "Agent Lambert"

3. Finally get bought out... instantly start comparing prices and tallying how many of their players are worth more than us. They're literally 3 points from winning promotion yet they can't stop obsessing

One thing I've also noticed... they obsess over us on Twitter. Constantly abusing us and taking swipes whenever we lose etc. But as soon as something similar happens to them? Literally nothing from us lmao

They have had so many opportunities to establish themselves in the PL but blow it everytime. No doubt they will do the same next season. In all this time, all they have to brag

That’s the difference between the two sets of fans in a nutshell.

Having had genuine success in the past Town fans will always compare the current side to those iconic sides and be underwhelmed and disappointed.

Having had no success in the past, the only thing that Norwich fans can get excited about is their position relative to Ipswich.
And that’s why, whether they like it or not, they have such an inferiority complex.

Imagine sitting down with your grandchildren in your old age and a lifetime of footballing memories comes down to a single goal in Germany and losing to Inter Milan. It would be horrible.
