USL Standard 14:49 - Apr 7 with 977 viewstomo

I wonder what kind of standard the USL is? Will we have some kind of feeder/parent club relationship with Phoenix Rising where we get first option on their players and we get the opportunity to send our youngsters on loan there. Phoenix or Ayr Utd I know where I’d rather spend a season on loan.

It’s Prob equivalent of non-league. Not great but possibly still some gems to be uncovered - assuming we have a scouting network

Standard is non-league. They did have two Jamaican players who were linked with a couple of Premier League sides - Palace were one, can't remember the other.

Kevon Lambert a big central midfielder who is still there, a by all accounts the best player they have.

The other was Junior Flemmings who was involved in homophobia controversy last season which saw Landon Donavan walk his team off the pitch - subsequently released by Phoenix Rising for it.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Good to hear. Our scouting network is something I really hope sees some investment under this new ownership.

American soccer, per their other sports, was well ahead of the curve with sports science etc

So hopefully we will get improvements there, considering our terrible track record during the Evans era

...Danish 2nd tier outfit, Helsingor.

Still a fairly ropey level, but potentially a more realistic option.
