Inside the ground 19:23 - Apr 7 with 4077 viewsgreyhound

Just posted this on another thread. However thought I would share this from a short while back. There's a lot of work needed to get the ground ready for fans. Sorry can't embed this. The link will have to do, I've quickly uploaded it.

That is awful.

I take everything back about about anything positive I said about Evans. To see this in a stadium being used is awful and disrespectful

But... it's not PR.

This is a joke post right?

Are you sure?

I don't see why Greyhound would lie....and he's proven today he's not one to be fed duff info.

Even if it isn't PR...there is no getting away from the fact the ground is pretty unkept and uncared for so the point stands anyway even if this picture isn't quite as it seems.

Fair enough.

Still, some care and attention is desperately needed to PR and i hope the new owners will see it as important enough to do. These things matter in creating a feel good factor to players and fans alike.

Nothing drastic but a spruce up at least. Major upkeep i know won't happen until if and when a couple of promotions are achieved!

No, but wherever it is, it is the sort of 'outside the box' thinking we've all accused Evans of not having.

Using lockdown to earn a few quid growing your own skunk can only be viewed as enterprising.

"You doubt whether he has made Reasonable decisions ? That's pretty extreme, isn't it ? Do you have a list of Unreasonable decisions that he has made ?"

I was going to mentally assemble a long list of his unreasonable decisions as I went about my chores this eve & then post them tonight, but as LeoMuff has helpfully already posted some, I'll add a few more off the top of my head -

- Getting rid of Magic in the manner that he did
- Appointing RK in the first place when he was totally the wrong fit for us
- Getting dodgy advice from wrong person/s to ask
- Not giving MM just that bit more when we were on edge of playoffs, instead opting for false economy
- Not recognising his own lack of knowledge in running a football club & stubbornly refusing to get a proper, competent structure in place
- Citing injuries in our squad as an "unlucky" reason for our failures this season - whilst allowing our fitness coach to work remotely from 400 miles away [doh]
- Not even doing the basics such as ensuring a decent standard of catering/service at the ground (for someone in the *hospitality* business!!); keeping the ground clean, tidy, well maintained to remind all concerned that ITFC was and should rightly remain a place to have pride in (a matter of basic public relations that surely all good business people would be mindful of, if only to keep morale up & thereby possibly improve performances, as well as attract new investors)
-Giving PL a 5-year (five!) contract - wtf?! You think that was a "Reasonable decision"?!

The point of this post is deeper.

Sport is about psychology. Create an environment to win. There's huge oversights. Imagine turning up to your workplace looking like this. If that's the care I they will put in to the standards the care and effort of players will be reflected.

Big oversight

Aren't we in the middle of a lockdown and essential work only, spraying weed killer in a football stadium I wouldn't class as essential work. I know someone who complained to our local council about weeds in the pavements and why haven't the council sprayed it as normal and was told it's not essential under the Government CV19 lockdown rules.

Am I the only one who is thinking that someone within the club has decided to identify the source that told greyhound about the takeover.

It goes like this.

The source must be one of Terry, Dave or Agatha. So you tell Terry about some incident that happened in training (except it didn't), Dave about something else within the club of interest but not major but again false and send Agatha the picture saying how disgraceful the upkeep of the ground now is.

All that was left was to wait and see which story ended up on TWTD from greyhound and the club have found their leak. Poor greyhound's source is outed. Oh dear.
