As stated earlier" give it a rest son"

"son". Cos that's not condescending.

Still, whilst you're here, what's with the systematic downvotes and refusal to engage civilly all about?

It's of no benefit to anyone and as there's few trolls who do that it made me wonder the same about you.

V sad. By far my fave Royal.... comedy gold but also a good man I think.

Agree. My favourite Royal by a distance. Proper man.

He's a big Town fan of many years and has been all over the country watching them - longer than you and me.

Still at it though.

I think your mate is a bit dim to be honest.

I've asked him politely to engage but he doesn't seem capable.

No need to worry about me mate .Just because I think the majority of your posts are pure sh1te and I give downvote accordingly. I take it that it's ok to disagree with you and the other gang of keyboard warriors or is free speech the next thing you and your woke brigade want banning? Reminds me of a speech from Churchill which obviously you and your mates will instantly hate as it comes from a great British statesman "everyone is in favour of free speech. Hardly a day passes without its being extolled, but some people's idea of it is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone else says anything back, that is an outrage"

What a pile of meaningless nothing. I see now why you don't engage.

All the cliches are there too.

"Free speech" - you don't speak though do you, that's the problem.

No one is stopping you.

And wtf is a woke brigade and how come your sort always refer to a brigade? What does that even mean?

You're just another who is angry but doesn't seem to know what at.

Budge is ok.

I am not getting involved in your squabble.

I haven't seen Budge for many years but back in the day he was always our minibus driver for away games - and boy did we have a ball. Sladey, Kempy, Abdul to name a few. Great times.

Budge though by his nature is very tight, he drove to every away game at 55.5mph so as to conserve petrol.

I think it was Budge that drove us to Luton with 8 of us in a Vauxhall Viva estate car.

“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.” Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.

There is no squabble.

We've never 'spoke' on here. He just follows me around downvoting me whilst refusing to chat. I've asked him why several times and you've just seen the first and only response.

I joked about Lagos falling off his bike - downvote.

I enquired why MPs might have a FB account - downvote.

The sun is out today - downvote.

His line about disagreeing with my points of view are simply untrue.

How can there be a point of view about any of those things?

Then he's banging on about woke and Churchill...

Doesn't work does it.

Such is the internet.

You'd be best buddies if you had a pint together

You'd have to pay though.

I don't doubt either of those things.

I have invited him to engage politely several times.

It's a creepy and weird thing to do, it's the stuff of stalking.

He can't fancy me cos he doesn't know me.

Calling someone dim is really pathetic - what makes anyone think they are better than others (probably the main criticism being made of Phillip) - disrespecting someone who died earlier today, irrespective of what you think of them is a poor show really.

And the only bit you got right is so far out of context.

Happy days indeed spider and your memory serves you well. One of Jeera's mates kindly pointed out that because of my age I must now be suffering from being senile and that explains my comments on here, perhaps he's right I am getting to that age where I don't suffer most of the political keyboard warriors on here well. its a sign of getting old spider! It's just a harmless bit of banter for me to pass the time away. Oh how I love winding them up

You see you're doing it again. You're making stuff up.

"One of his mates". What are you on about?

You not being clever or winding people up - you're showing you're not up to communicating on a normal level. Do you not see?

You are showing yourself up but you are right that at your age you should probably know better.

I don't think you're senile at all. I just think you're incapable of interacting and putting any points across.

At least I know now. So thanks for showing that you are indeed not very bright.

Goodnight.

I haven't said anything derogatory about the DofE.

I'm not overly interested at all, so you're out of order there.

As for the dim comment, you lack all context. The poster has been following me around for weeks and it's creepy.

Still, you're not interested in that are you? You've had your little say - it's wrong, but you don't care about that.

If you don't know a situation, it's rude to just drop by with an opinion and assumptions.

I don't remember much of the day except being very uncomfortable. As the youngest by quite some distance (I think I was 15 or 16) I was one of the three that were in the boot.

I think we were in that pub near the shopping centre before the game and it all went off when Luton came out of it. After the game I don't remember but I think we had some info of our lot getting a bit of a hammering (but that might have been the game a year or two later)

Did we take a detour to Cambridge after the game? It's a bit hazy.
