... inevitable really!

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

I expect anyone that has played for Wigan in the last three or four years will be linked.

As long as he's cheap/free. Goals have completely dried up the last 3 years and the last thing we need is another striker who can't score. Besides, you'd want to wait to see what league we were in wouldn't you (looking likely 6th might be beyond us now, but we could make a late bid if suddenly the form picks up)?

At Wigan he was adored, I'm sure one fan called him the best League 1 striker in the past decade when speaking in an interview to Cook.

He has fallen at Sunderland, 29 years old and suspect he'll be on good money. Can only see a loan deal unless he would take a good cut of money.

Cook clearly got the very best out of him during their time together.

He's only 29 but has been pants for years now. He was only ever good in this league at his best. Move on.

Being a “huge fan” isn’t the type of data science I had in mind. Not sure Football Insider are that inside.

If you look at the YouTube video of all of Wigan's goals under Paul Cook, Grigg plays as the lone striker well and has better predatory instincts than anyone here (close call between him and Norwood).

Gamble for sure, but could definitely be an ideal L1 striker for next season.

People need to ignore his Sunderland move. He had some form.of personal issues at Sunderland.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

Long time since he’s been on fire. But still worth a look.

The episode of the Sunderland Netflix thing where their new chairman got roped into spending more and more money on him is as good as any banter era ITFC event.

Sounds like he is getting good reviews at MK dons on loan, exactly the sort of striker who could get us out of LG 1 and wouldn’t cost the earth.

Edit: annoyingly we probably could have got him in the Jan window, but we signed a load of expensive flops instead.

Exactly. Need to get out of L1 first. He has the goals in him to make that happen.
