Wasn't there a really annoying red card in the 2001 relegation season which stopped us winning at the time a very influential fixture? and on the replays it showed the opponent dived.

WAsn't that Man Utd at home with Ruud Van Nistelcheat being the diver?
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
We had a sh1t load of dodgy decisions against us in the 2007-8 season when we finished 1 point outside the play offs.
Danny Haynes scored a last minute winner against Cardiff (after Rhodes got the first goal) which was chalked off for no reason - he had a dodgy offside against him away at Colchester as well. I also seem to remember a 0-0 draw that season against QPR. There was a last minute scramble and the ball was cleared away but the general consensus was that it was handball and even if it wasn't, it was possible over the line anyway.

Charlton's Robinson should have been sent off at their place while we were 2-0 up on New Year's Day. Our only defeat during the only good run of the season.
Sereni dismissed at Leicester in September ended up being important.

Play off semi final versus Bolton. Virtually every decision Barry Knight made could’ve been scrutinised and found to be correct. Would’ve shut Big Sam up from whining for years afterwards!

All day long this. Was a f****** disgraceful bit of refereeing.
Awful awful decision but in terms of the effect it had on that season, probably didn't have a great consequence.
On the other hand, that 1975 decision definitely prevented a Wembley final. 2001-02 with the Savage and Van Nistelrooy incidents certainly didn't help our bid for survival.
In terms of being stitched up against that lot, Warky may like the overturned penalty or his red card incident looked at again.
Forrest being manhandled at Cambridge in the 91-92 season may have prevented the referee being pelted with objects after that goal was somehow allowed to stand.
Trouble with VAR is the Bobby Gould disallowed offside goal in 5th round 78 would have been given by VAR as he wasn't offside, possibly/probably meaning Town not winning the FA Cup. Although with all the snow that day its feasible VAR would have missed it.

Grant Holt diving to get Delaney sent off
Agree with the holte one. Didn't a Norwich player wipe his own blood onto the face of a town defender at carrot Road? So he had to go off to be cleaned up for the corner and then they scored. It may have been earnshaw is an alien on Macauley

Bad idea. We'd have had to abandon the game as Bolton wouldn't have had enough players on the pitch and might not have won a replay.

Fortunately, that result wasn't relevant, although we didn't know that at the time. Around that time, Steve Kember scored a "goal" for Crystal Palace against Forest & told the ref that it wasn't a goal. Can't see many players doing that these days. This one would have been resolved with goal line technology, which I support, unlike the hideous VAR.
