Got to screw the little people and the Taxpayers or they're not fit to call themselves Tories. The real story is what Tory MP's aren't doing this - Traitors.

And let's not forget that Ed Miliband's father was such a massive Anglophobe that he demanded to go to Belgium during the Second World War.* *In case tom hunt is reading, Ralph Miliband volunteered to work with the Belgian resistance but was unable to do so as he was at the time a Polish national and unable to get permission from the Polish government to do so. He was, however, able to join the Royal Navy and served in the Mediterranean and at the D-Day and Toulon landings. Don't you just hate it when asylum seekers come good tom? My MP is currently awaiting trial for £63K of housing fraud allegations which will happen once the courts get back to some sort of normality. Do I think there will be any sort of justice served? Do I hell.

The concern is that is now becoming commonplace. almost accepted - which suggests ut is far more rife than most voters think. If this is the oublic domain, then what the hell is happening that we don't know about ? The pandemic seemed to have been a time for various Tores to hand out contracts to their mates, with every thought that there would have been a divi out for all concerned. That is bad enough but seeing the failings these providers delivered is scandalous..... track and trace, PPE etc Still at least this Tory is honest https://www.cityam.com/robert-jenrick-faces-fresh-questions-over-new-planning-ro 'The Mail also revealed that Quinn Estates donated £11,000 to the Conservative party the same month the application was called up by Jenrick. The company went on to donate a further £40,000 to the Tories over the next few months.'

....corrupts absolutely. It's a sad reflection of life, whatever the political persuasion. Look at Liverpool city council, the people that run that city have been milking it dry for years.

It kills two birds with one stone – while dismantling the state and extending the reach of private enterprise they can also skim off the top for themselves and their friends. Not just a Tory thing either. You can see that in the new breed of Labour politician who wants to take advantage of that nexus of power, influence and money to set themselves up for life. Move up in the party (or just make a name for yourself) and they’ve got a job for life going through the revolving doors of politics, lobbying, corporate and the media worlds. With both parties now dominated by donors too then there’s little doubt that actual democratic representation is little more than window dressing and a sideshow to the main business model.

Yes. See what happened to the Change UK lot and the Labour “dissidents” like Mann, Austin and Woodcock. They just slid into corporate and lobbying jobs or were made peers. Democratic socialists/social democrats, my @rse. They wanted to maintain their grip on the left-side of the establishment more than see a Labour government in power. Clearly not definitive proof. But when you put that distinct pattern over the years against the lack of ideas/unwillingness to change anything of those they left behind on the Labour right then you wonder why else these people got into politics in the first place.

Blimey you can't be that one eyed, try reading some wider sources if you really think that and avoid the echo chambers. Yes Tories are nasty and greedy, yes Labour seem to be trying to catch up.

There is a vast difference between greed and fraud. Between earning what you can and blatant corruption. It is the high level of fraud and corruption the OP was addressing

I think gaming a representative democracy for personal gain and ultimately faking an interest in public service is fraudulent and corrupt. Maybe not criminally but certainly morally.
