Frank Yallop 17:48 - Apr 12 with 1665 views

I've been listening to Andy Warrens interview with Frank Yalllop ( on his twitter feed ) and if I was picking the CEO, he would be my choice.
Has strong links to the club and the past, and to the new owners and the future.
And sounds a very nice chap as well.
I think he is settled in the States though, but a football man like that would be great, not a 100 per cent business man.

It was a good interview. But crucially I've no idea whether he has the credentials to be a CEO. My hunch is that he doesn't.

We've spent long enough with CEO's who don't know how to do the job.

Indeed, he has huge experience within the game and management side, but he doesn't strike me as a CEO type.

Also, he seems very settled in the US.

Seems like a great guy, and very capable at what he does. But I think that's probably where it ends.
