Complete guess work, but I think we’ll see a big influx of U23 lot in the squad tonight.
Based on EADT saying the u23 team hasn’t been made public for today’s game.

I reckon Cook has had it with a large chunk of 1st team squad, now going kids, make or break

We’ll be good again... one day

I'm trying to think of anyone who might conceivably get a promotion from the U23s at this point and we're at real long shots - Liam Gibbs is the only proper prospect still playing at that level.

Cook said we had 24 first teamers training last week, it's more likely he's just keeping quiet which 6-8 he's left out of the match day squad.

Not sure. Can name 18 even taking into account those 1st teamers who were playing for the U23s.

Not sure. I guess it's more that the likes of Nydam and Dobra are around the first team picture and if they've started the u23 game it gives a pretty clear indicator they aren't involved tonight. I can't think of too many u23s likely to step up at this point, although I wouldn't be against anyone being given a go at this stage.

I would go 4-4-2 as follows:

Holy, KVY, Woolfenden, Nsiala, Nydam, Dozzell, Downes, Bishop, Dobra, Hawkins, Norwood.

Nydam at LB. Bishop on the right, Dobra left. Work the channels and get some balls into Hawkins and Norwood. All XI here next season (if we take options on Toto, Teddy & Nydam). Youth, technical, a few points to prove.

Send them out to have some fun.

Tyreece Simpson.

Has scored 1 goal for the U23s all season. Unless Cook's taken a fairly out there shine to the lad, I can't see that happening.

So few first team players seem to play for the U23s these days, even those who aren't getting any first team game time. Quite odd.
The idea that Wimbledon will gain a huge advantage by discovering which town fringe players won't be in the first team squad tonight is near laughable.

It’s only a season defining game so yeah, why not throw in the kids!

If we lose tonight then I would expect to see him naming teams with an eye to next season

Nothing we've seen so far from Cook suggests he's big on "just chucking in the kids". With the exception of Saturday he's generally tried to get his most experienced players on the pitch whenever possible.

Wouldn't be surprised if tonight we were back to our rather feeble "top goal contributions" trio Edwards, Judge and Norwood.
