I remember watching speedway, greyhound racing and stock cars (not all at the same time time, of course!) at that place in the 60s and 70s - and a good few football matches at the mud bath just down the road!

I went to speedway there once in the mid 1970's. I seem to remember it with a lot of glass-a bit like MK stadium is now.
