Cook came in at an awkward time, with town having fluked 3 unimpressive wins just before he started. He naturally wanted to play his chosen system, which confused things more & now he's chopping & changing systems like Lambert. This season is pretty much now written off - we won't come back from 2-0 with 10 men. We'll need 15 points or 5 wins from the last 6 to have a chance of the play offs & given that we've managed a point a game under Cook, that's not going to happen. Please dump all the loan players and start planning for next season now. don't pick any players who won't be here next season. |  |

I don't get this. If most of them aren't going to be here, surely they're playing for their futures, trying to flash a smile at potential suitors to get a better club/contract. When he joined we had a very decent chance of promotion. Scrapped 3 wins.
We've actually gone backwards under him.
Lambert was brought in to stave off relegation. He got nothing out of the squad and made no attempt at keeping us up.
Cook had the opportunity for the play offs but like Lambert simply has not delivered.
Its concerning.
And people seem happy to write off this season...we may not have a better chance for promotion next year. Gotta take the chances in front of you.

Top 2? Come off it. I doubt he realised the players weren't even fit enough to manage a double session when he agreed to take on the job. The players look miles off it and have done for ages. I expected better but given the state of the squad physically and mentally and him having no real chance to do anything about that I'm not going to jump on the Cook out bandwagon just yet. | |

Where he could have made a bit of a difference is with substitutions, not just tonight but through numerous games. Tonight he destroyed the one bit of real momentum by making three substitutions, one of which was Edwards who was beginning to come good at long last. Chopping and changing way too much, looks like he really doesn't know what to do. I so hope I'm wrong, but so far all I can see that Cook has brought to Town is fine words and an amusing personality. | | | |
