Since judge has been here he’s been utter sht IMO

However, he’s had the constant worry about his daughters health issues, and his mums, I’d suggest his head has never been even 50% on the task. It’s horrible for him personally, but we aren’t a charity case

i agree with this completley. i feel so much for judge but we are a football club that needs to be ruthless not a helpline or a charity

Thought his form around the end of Lambert had improved considerably but then tailed off again following the death of his mother. Since then, perhaps unsurprisingly, he’s been poor.

I imagine he's been told he's going at the end of his deal, and to be fair it could then be that a discussion has been had about how valuable it is for him to stick around at the club for the remainder of the season when he could spend time with his family instead. Given the personal issues he's been through here I don't think any of us would object to him being given the next 4 weeks to spend time away from the game rather than being at the club.

He's been one of our liveliest more attacking midfielders. Not a lot of end product, but the effort's been there. Not sure what that says about the rest.

He's been massively disappointing. He was brought in to be our creative spark and to bring some quality on the ball, but what he's actually been is a Poundland Jay Tabb. I feel for him as he's been through a lot and he seems a decent guy, but he goes down as a massive disappointment as a player here.

You can believe that straight after losing the management decided "off the back of this poor team performance, let's pick a player almost entirely at random and settle his contract"? Despite choosing to pick him for every game he was available for?

Cook just needs to ask himself 1 question: Is Judge going to be here next season?

If the answer is no, then it is entirely conceivable that the manager has decided it is better for both parties that he focuses on his family and getting himself sorted for next season.

I am not saying I believe it has happened. I am just saying I can see how it might.

Really thought he would.... and I definately think he should, boss this league. By that yardstick he's been disappointing to say the least.

Personally its been a difficult time here for him and its a shame he's had to be dealing with those things however we can't afford passengers, esp on his wage.

Best all round if you ask me.

He certainly hasn't lived up to the expectation. He was meant to make a difference in the Championship after all. Despite that, I still think he's been one of our better players this season. Or rather at least he's tried. He's covered every blade of grass at PR.

I'm clutching at straws a bit, as yes ultimately he's done very little in the attacking third. And I'd certainly agree he's been a disappointment compared to what we hoped from him.

He said the AFC game would define our season. So I assume they have now given up hopes of the play offs and are focusing on the few players who will be here next year.

Judge has had a rough time of it here from a personal perspective. But as pointed out we aren't a charity, we are a football club.

And from a football perspective, he hasn't been anywhere near good or effective enough to warrant staying.

I genuinely do wish him the very best though.

Yeah, he's a good guy, had some awful personal issues to contend with whilst being at a club in turmoil.

I suspect he will be glad to put this whole chapter behind him, and I hope things have significantly improved with his daughter.

Not been at the level we expected/hoped, but I wish him all the best going forward.

The real shame with Judge on the pitch is that, when he came in, he had that urgency and determination that enhances whole teams. That's the sort of initial impact Cook will want from two or three of his signings.

I don't think Judge has performed as badly here as popular opinion makes out, no lack of effort and a frustrating lack of positional discipline but he's featured in a lot of our better football.

Having said that over the past 2 seasons he's our 3rd best for goals + assists, behind only Jackson and Norwood. He's not been a cut above this division, which is what we signed him as, but he's quietly been our most effective attacking midfielder.

No club, even ours, would 'give up' on the play offs whilst its still mathematically possible.
Theres no basis for any of this.
