Seeing that I am a modern man - Friday Tunes female version? on 21:44 - Apr 16 by GlasgowBlue
A message from Badger has reminded me of this. Filthy lyrics.
Sampled by Jean Jacques Smoothie, for his 2001 hit 2 People.
In Mrs Badger's words, Minnie Reperton was a woman who was so confident about her ability to hit five octaves she didn't need to do it in every bloody song.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

You know what Melfy, that is such a track for me when I was growing up. I love it, in fact I swear to God now and then when I think of it I'm thinking that I must put it on a TW4TD music thread.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

No I hadn't heard that but I doff my hat to you.
I first saw Sam Brown (yes, the daughter of...) when she was one of the three backing singers and sung The Great Gig in the Sky for Pink Floyd on The Division Bell tour and fell in love with her there and then - like rotund married men do.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

It becomes more relevant when you're been the one chucked out. 5 years ago end of this year and I can't still get over her.
