One player who is clearly not "downing tools." He looks like he really wants a new contract and is working hard. (Not saying he is playing really well but in every other way he stands out at the moment) Toto looks the same when he is playing.

Agree , Downes looked disinterested Dobra ineffectual , same as pretty much everyone else .

I do think Kenlock would cross better than Ward though , crossing is not Wards strength , some poor low crosses that hit the first man even when we had the 2 big lumps on at the end.

Where as, playing football not really one of Kenlock's strengths.

Swings and Roundabouts aint it.

How do you know no one praised him or said good effort? All I could hear was shouting and very loud clapping from the bench.

You're literally inventing something out of nothing here.

I think we are dog sh it, but christ, theres no suggestion that the squad don't get on, quite the opposite in fact from what I see on the pitch. They just don't work very well as a team.

Ah Kenlock, played 1 good ball in 4 years and became a cult hero.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

One of his best in a town shirt. Probably worthy of 3 or 4 out of 10

He retention would have been horrific still but he almost hit the target with a shot and had 1 successful cross. Definitely one of his better games

Labouring a point and all that, but don't his better games tend to coincide with him being played on the left?

I'm not suggesting he is POTY, not that there should be one this year, but think it's no coincidence that he has always looked more comfortable on the left.

A mediocre player must be played in his best position or not at all really.

Still in two minds about him then?

I dunno, this fence sitting lark. I wish you would commit.

Probably the best of Paul Hurst's signings. That's not saying much though is it?
I would offer him another year on the same or reduced terms ans see how it goes.

I didnt watch it, but Edwards is far from our worst player. You've backed quite a few like Lankaster and Wolf who have been equally shocking in many games.

I know its partly banter and what else is there to do now that Lambert / Evans has gone, but lets give Edwards a tiny bit of credit. The EADT pretty much said he played well.

Im sure he's one that would get another club if he left. And one probably higher up than where we currently are.

He has flashes about him, no doubt. Consistency and first touch are his two biggest flaws. He did perfectly fine with Peterborough and Crawley - so has value. Is it a case of him playing better when better people are around him? Possibly.

Either way, if he is on his way out - I hope Cook makes sure his replacement is here first rather than slinging him in the bin arbitrarily.
