Where does he rank in our worst ever goalkeepers list?

He seems a lovely guy but I really do think he's extremely high on the list.

An absolute priority signing this summer.

I would say not even top 5.

He is an average L1 keeper and we are an average L1 team, so we're a good fit.

I agree we will need better moving forward, but conceding goals is not our problem.

He's not even the worst goalie at the club currently.

He's already played for us this season I think hasn't he? In the cup? Either way, he's being released so I doubt he'll get a game!

He plays behind a defence many complain about but has kept a clean sheet in 15 league games so far this season.

If we had an average league one strike force we would be comfortably in a play off position. We are a so so club in the third tier of English football.

He's really not that bad for League One. Low on the list of priorities for me.

Obviously last night was horrific but he's done plenty of good things too.

In other words that makes him the worst keeper in our history.

Up until the last few games, I'd said he was ample

But watching back some of the goals we have conceded this season, and including last nights pathetic GK performance. He needs replacing. Especially if distribution is going to be key.

I'd disagree. I'd put ALB (who wasn't as bad as people make out), Henderson (during his time here), Price and McCarthy (during his time here - clearly he's a very good keeper now) below him.

The only Town keepers he's been better than are Norris and Cornell. I'd say pretty much everyone else we have had starts before him if you were given a choice. He's a good bloke, you can tell he's enjoying his time here but come on, he's playing in the third division could you imagine him playing in any of the town sides from the past 40 years above any of the other first team keepers we have had?

I´m amazed at supporters that are pointing out Holy as our main problem. Is he the best keeper ever? No, of course not. But he makes a fair share of decent saves and has kept us in a lot of games. Yesterday was a shambolic mistake, but there was so many errors from many players, why is his singled out?

Crazy talk.
This team and every player in it, is de facto the worst set of players to wear the shirt in living memory. People talk about Uhlenbeek Harbey David Hill and Lee-Barrett like they wouldn’t vastly improve on what we have now.

Maybe im crossing the streams, but didn't he often need outfield players to take goalkicks for him?
