This group of players have been tosspots for 3 years. I think they're somewhat more deserving of the criticism than Cook, who walked into a fairly unprecedented situation just 6 weeks ago and has struggled to do anything about it. |  |

If we do not go up next season with everything that is being thrown at it it will be a failure far greater than the failure this season, failure last season and failure to make a serious attempt at staying in The Championship the season before. |  | | |

Who knows what will happen next season, but we look set to have a massive overhaul of a horrendously underperforming playing squad, who have been fairly useless under 3 different managers now. The common denominator is not Paul Cook, who has an excellent track record at his last 3 clubs. Saying we should bin him because he can't motivate a squad of players from whom losing has become a habit and who all know they will shortly be out of a job anyway, is fairly ridiculous. | |
