Only asking this as I see local journo's interacting with him on twitter

BUT seriously, 43, worth a season IF Berke was able to work his magic?

The media/marketing side of it would be immense, shirt sales etc. But what about the player.. i've no idea at league 1 level who the oldest players have been.

Knowing our luck he'll pull his hamstring and be out for 2 years!

John Burridge or Jamie Cureton I would hazard a guess as some of the oldest players.

Suspect he would need chances put on a plate (something we don't do).

We'd be a laughing stock.

Player/Coach role perhaps
I can see Drogba being involved at some point, in what capacity I'm not sure

Stop it.

He'll never play for us, except perhaps in a join Chambers/Skuse testimonial, which will see both fired out of a cannon, over the Cobbold roof at full time.

stop what, being here in some capacity? or playing? if playing fair play, as I said, I don't know enough about league 1 to know if it has been done at that age.

Hes not played for 3 years, and not played at any reasonable level for 4-5 years.

I’d have Burridge in goal now. And he’s probably about 70!

I'm not the local journo tweeting him etc.

It's something that has been making its way round twitter etc, so worth an ask on here for opinions.

No need. asked a question, got some answers

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up here at some capacity though what ever and however small or short term it was.

Some capacity isn't out of the question, but did you seriously think he is going to play?

I don't know to much about this league tbh, no idea what the higher end of the age ranges that have appeared here, I also don't know what shape he's in, or if he's still playing etc, hence asking other people rather than having my own opinion on it as I don't know enough about the situation. And with Ibra, playing with AC Milan at 40 ect and Coppinger at Donacaster at 40 it was worth than ask. ( Appreciate Drogba is 43 mind you)
