Having a go at some of our players having a drink and a meal.

The old ‘wouldn’t want them in the trenches’ comment comes out. Just so over the top.

Definately a lot of way over the top comments

Again tho. Norwood couldn't help himself. Not even tagged in to those specific tweets. Hes clearly seen them so created his own tweet with a selfie with the lads.

Clearly there is nothing wrong what so ever about being out. None at all.

But why why the need for a player to produce a tweet that's only purpose is to bait people...

It's not the first time and it's not productive. I follow a fair number of footballer accounts and I've not seen any other players of other clubs baiting their own club supporters.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

We need players who do their talking on the pitch. I can understand them reacting on social media but it is not helping.

Can’t see anything wrong with the original tweet, unless he baited afterwards? I can’t be bothered to read the twitter thread but - at a risk of starting a ten pager - the manager has declared open season on the players so the fall out is unsurprising.

Because Norwood is all about the 'Bantz' innit. he'll post a tweet with a load of fishing rods on later.

He's hilarious.

It’s actually pretty funny that people can be that triggered from whoever posts a picture like that.

Norwood is a knob but he’s also entitled to go out for a meal and drinks with teammates without Town fans getting all upset about it and adding all sorts of insinuation.

Podcast that goes for an emergency mental health approach criticises people that go out and socialise on a day off.

There not skipping training, they are just a few mates having drinks. Such a stupid tweet. Hilariously on the same day that the 3 of the talking town bunch are being recommended for some award for Ipswich fans helping the community.

You can hate the players but they are still human beings that have a job and have time to socialise.

I thought the nomination for that award was way over the top. They have probably done some good things with the pandemic and given people something to look forward to. If you are looking for money for it that kind of takes the community feel away from it.

May be over the top, and they have been as divisive as they have been unifying. With all the pods etc out there you would hope the club doesn't single one out and instead gives them all a nod saving awards for true local more understated heroes
