Maybe not the brightest
But he may be a 20 goal a season striker in this league and he has that Animal in him that wants to win
So it's a yes for me for next season just need two Strikers to complement the squad as rest are poor

Maybe it’s one of his many dogs that he has in him.

It's absolutely mental that some are willing to bin off because they object to his childish Twitter antics and assume we'd be able to replace him easily.

His goals ratio this year is more than respectable and has often been the standout man in an obviously crap team creativity wise. We've always been too nice so now we've a bit of a craphouse up front let's enjoy it.

If he could improve his finishing he would be 20+ a season. Regularly gets into positions to score but takes a lowish percentage of those chances. Can finish well but could do with improving his consistency on that. In a side that creates chances he will score a lot.

He gets chances, that's the thing. Our other strikers aren't missing chances because they're not getting in the positions to get them in the first place.

Yes, that was what I meant. He gets in positions to score goals. If he got proper service too, he will score even more. Put him in a better team than we have been and he will score more.

However, another way to improve his return is to get him to take more of his chances.

I recall Stewart talking about how he became the player he was when he got some psychological help relating to finishing chances.

It's not just the Twitter stuff though is it? It's the fact that he's utterly unable and apparently unwilling to get and stay fit, despite being an allegedly professional sportsman. He's been carrying more timber this season than a Jewson delivery lorry.

Keep as a back up perhaps, but he will need to adopt a far more professional attitude.

There are much better out there, and I sincerely hope that Cook is of the same thinking.

He was 28 when we signed him and never played a decent standard. He’s now 30 and hardly pulled up trees for us.

Get rid.

Move on.

What about his drink driving arrest and his piss taking while injured? Are we allowed to be less than impressed about that?

It's quite surprising that so many are willing to give a free pass to a second drink-drive court case isn't it.

Some things aren't just about the football, our players should conduct themselves in a certain way.

I guess they wouldn't be so forgiving if they'd had family killed by a drink driver.

Look mate, it could be a lot worse, MICK could have liked him.

Christ, imagine if Mick had inherited Norwood. He'd have either whipped him into shape and he'd be talking about how he'd have never played in the prem if it wasn't for Mick and Terry sorting him out or he'd be tearing up the Conference North having been bombed out as a bad egg quick sharpish.

Too many people jumping on the out bandwagon. For this level he's fine. Worth keeping.

It's not exactly without reason though is it? The bloke needs to grow up and get his head down. I'm all up for giving him that opportunity next season, but he needs to stop embarrassing us - and himself.

Although Hurst selling players that were worth 40-odd goals a season between them probably hurt us a lot more than selling a seven goal a season man might.

Yeah but his internet bantz isn't at an epic level is it?

I'm only half joking when I say I suspect the reason a lot of folk like Norwood is because he'd be a laugh to have a pint with, and he's inspiration for all the out of shape lazy blokes out there that they too can be a professional footballer.
