Agreed. I don’t think we have anyone who I’d trust to dispatch a penalty with any authority.
Which probably is tied in to the bigger problem that we don’t have anybody in open play who backs themselves to have a shot and/or doesn’t snatch at it. |  |

A penalty is a duel in the sun (or not). No goalkeeper would have swanned around the pitch before the kick was taken asking Joe Soap if he'd like to be in goal for this one. Even Bruno Frenandes woud struggle to regain focus if he did that sort of thing. It comes down to professionalism not playacting. [Post edited 2 May 2021 21:40]

Last decent taker was Veno but trouble now is that we don't get into the penalty area that often to win any!
Penalty takers should give the keeper no chance so hard down the middle should work every time so maybe Bishop would be good. |  | | |
