Better than Holy - who is largely hopeless. But are you seriously suggesting that Cornell is quality enough to be out and out first choice all next season. I agree with the OP - seriously need to put some thought into getting a dependable number 1 - and Cornell can be back up. Get rid of Holy.. |  | | |

Made 2 very good saves in the first 45 but definitely guilty of overplaying at the back, him and Woolfenden especially.
I think we're making them look like a better side than they are, especially the way they've cut through us a few times. Dozzell is quiet and Downes is offering more offensively than defensively. Still think we need a more defensively minded midfielder to sit in front of the back 4, Whalley is having too much joy in there.
We're over complicating it in the final third. Dobra and Edwards need to keep running at them, they'll get some joy. Shrews look every bit the side that's won 1 in 7. |  |

Again, overall a decent performance now, but in the first 20 minutes of that half his clearances gave two chances that better teams would have buried and we'd be 2-0 down.
