Such a loophole should not exist. Good job they now can't do it.

Truly impaired.

It wasn't really a loophole to avoid isolation all together, just cheaper hotel isolation than being forced to pay £1500 in the UK. Any traveler from India would still have to isolate in Turkey but at a cost of around £600.

I assume that now the will have to isolate in the UK when flying in from Turkey so won't be able to save money by going that route.

I stand corrected. I thought they went to Turkey and straight on to the UK where they had to isolate at home.

Truly impaired.

Absolutely. Several clusters of the Indian variant in England now. All entirely predictable and none of them had to be inevitable. Could have been stopped by acting earlier with border controls (as people were saying at the time, there's no hindsight here) and by closing loopholes by implementing initial point of departure checks.

Again, we've acted too late and in too slapdash a fashion. It's so depressing.

Now this is a long shot but the last year or two anything is possible....I know Villa park offered themselves and Wembley has the playoffs going on....if it is to be in England...how about in a stadium not to cavernous to allow some atmosphere.... as the capacity allowed in UK would be 10,000.....

Portman road ?????

I'd assume certain UEFA requirements would be needed

It's more like to be somewhere like MK Dons or Cardiff City I would think?

More likely to be a modern ground with up to date media facilities?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

It feels wrong but even before I thought of Ipswich.....I thought MK....for the reasons you state...it's pretty perfect, size and location and style....how strangely apt that it would be THAT stadium that sums up all that is hated with modern football to be the one that actually helps football and fans.
