I am certain Cook is not building the squad around any one individual, Norwood or other.
Big season coming up for Dobra, Downes, Dozzell and Bishop (if he is still here).
Given good service and with a proper pre-season and attitude, Norwood will be a good player for us next season. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we bring in a striker who will expect to play ahead of him. |  |

I think it's almost certain we'll look to upgrade.
You can't sit there as a manager and decide to build a team around a player who has only been fit and available for half your games over 2 seasons, no matter how much you might rate them. |  |

Yes he's really set league 1 on fire with his 2 goals. There is a good player in there some where. Harry Kane didn't set the world on fire at Nodge so you never know with young players. Wouldn't mind him back here next season. | | | |

You are recommending Troy Parrott because Norwood doesn't score enough goals? Lol!
However, there are Will Keane, Paul Mullins and Will Grigg. Not sure they would definitely be an improvement on Norwood but they are certainly options I would be surprised if we aren't looking at. | |

I'd suggest all strikers miss more than they score. Point is he gives himself the opportunity to score by getting in good positions, and ultimately his goals to games is respectable. |  |

Agreed. He is, as others have said, a pest. He does put himself about, but he is frighteningly profligate in front of goal. We currently don't make enough chances to waste those we do get. I don't have a problem with him playing a big role next year as I think he is a good player - certainly for our current level - but I'd really wish he could be more of a sniper. When I see him through on goal I know it's 50/50 he's going to blow it. I won't mention penalties. |  | | |
