Again, fu ck me, he would be an unbelievable signing. Presume loan as he must be on decent wages at West Brom?

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

We've made an enquiry for him to West Brom. Suspect he will be on good wages, but with them being relegated now, I don't think they'll be out of our reach.

Don't know whether loan or not, but would probably agree loan is likely.

He's been on loan again this season. I do wonder whether now they are relegated whether he might get some game time.

Dependent on who is the manager, and dependent on what happens to Semi Ajayi I think. Possibility he could move on.

It is definitely a deal we are interested in.

I’d be very happy with a back 4 of :-

RB - KVY
CB - Kipre
CB - Bradley
LB - Garbutt

Connelly & Evans in front of them and that’s one hell of a start - just add goals !

Was saying to my mate the other day he'd be a good signing. Was with Cook at Wigan so makes sense

Though we’ve basically improved the part of the team which was fine anyway - it’s great that we are but the real issue was creating and scoring.

I guess Connolly will cover right back as well as play central midfield.

The defence was far better than our attack last year, but it was far from fine. We conceded 3 against Wimbledon and Northampton in the space of 4 days.

The approach is very clear, every area of the pitch needs improving.

Definitely looks like people are throwing as much sh*t at the wall as they can to see if any of it sticks.

When i see it, I'll believe it.

From prem to league 1 is a big drop not just in wages but stature and his career hasn't really been going in that direction it's more been upwardly mobile.

Of course there's the Paul Cook factor but that's a hell of a pull to get a player taking a wage drop like that.

A defence set up correctly can also give you a platform to attack. Ours was too deep, if these guys help us get up the pitch more it will be a big help to the pressing and the attacking game.

I really don't see what your issue is to be honest? Always got to be the smart ar*e, haven't you? If you don't like what anyone posts, then why even bother reading it?

He hasn't played a game for West Brom in the Premier League. has spent the second half the season playing a handful of games in the Belgian League.

If anything I'd say his career has stalled since he moved there.

Just taking the piss out of the more laughable def info merchants innit. It's gonna be a long summer here, might as well find your fun where you can.

Cool he’s still on a prem contract. Although that might be cut after relegation. I’m not sure his career has dropped that much that he has to go into league 1 and start again.

BTW I’m not saying I don’t believe you, just feels like a championship club might be in before us.

Obviously we don't know, and I am certainly not suggesting it is absolutely nailed on, a lot of pieces would have to fall in place for it to happen I feel - WBA willing to let go, loan or perm, attract him to us above Champ clubs.

I am just saying we have definitely put in an enquiry for his availability.
