Freedom day is here... 16:56 - May 17 with 2106 viewsbluelagos

From my sample of 3 venues (Snape Maltings, Southwold coffee shop near the pier and Stonham Barnes) I can confirm that all three retailers told me there was no additional business at all today.

So any consumer led stampedes have not seemingly started in rural Suffolk yet. Maybe different once the sun comes out.

And £8 for a bacon roll and a coffee at Snape? WTAF?

Motorbiking is possibly the most CV compliant transport there is J2. No permission needed :-)

And, in wet weather, motorbiking is a real boon to the organ donation programme.

Absolutely. Poor visibility and you are even more likely to be taken out by some half blind car driver who doesn't bother to look properly when they are coming out of a junction. I'd take the licenses off all such morons, but that's just me.

Men like Phil or Sitters I expect to see at Snape or even Walberswick, but the likes of you and I.... they probably thought about following you round to check you weren’t fingering the merchandise etc

Fair to say the clientele were a little bit varied in their appearance. Pushing us for scruff was the local (from her accent) middle aged mum who had her coat on inside out.

Riverside tea room in Orford is where I normally head for.

I’d imagine you’d be quite safe around Snape as most of those who live round there are so old now they’ve had to give up there licenses!
