Answering your point, I think it is partly age and partly a change of style to either one or no (false 9) strikers. And with Sterling, Jesus and an inform Marhez, plus De Bruyne and Foden, he is basically surplus to requirements as good as he still is. |  |

I believe they think Ferran Torres can play that role. Wouldn't be surprised to see them bring in an established striker though. Jesus is not good enough to be anything more than a bit part player imo. |  | | |
