The judge has STOPPED the trial of two ex South Yorkshire police officers and the force's lawyer, for perverting the course of justice over amending officers' statements. He has ruled there is NO case to answer. Mr Justice William Davis has ruled that the statements were changed for Lord Justice Taylor's public inquiry, but that was "not a course of public justice," it was an "administrative exercise."
