Do they have to leave a percentage for match day ticket sales? Or could they just sell out the whole ground in theory?

Not a 100% certain in previous years they held a percentage back for match day sales. Tey certainly did in 2000/01 season in the Prem.

2,500 of them were Luke Chambers blocking the lines to spite the club.

Allegedly.

You are right that they did so in 2000, IIRC they had a 18k limit on season tickets, with 2k for match day sales and 2k for the opposition.

Pretty sure that this has not been the case with the larger ground. Again if my memory serves me well, in our first season in Division 3 the SBRL was pretty much all STs with only a small number of tickets available on match days.

As posted above, pretty sure that there will be some extra tickets released in the SBRL once those who have failed to renew are timed out and the tickets put back on sale.
