It's not impossible, but it seems very unlikely. Renewals took us to a little under 10k, to sell over 6k new season tickets in under 2 days seems a bit of a stretch. Not all of those calls to the ticket office would have been to buy tickets, and it's not like we have hundreds of ticket office staff manning the phones. Some people were having to make dozens of calls to get through. |  |

That's what I mean tho. Yesturday with all the DD issues they had results of just shy 3000 ST by closing. Potentially add to that overnight online purchases and then today's calls/ online purchases ( without any DD problems) and theres a very good chance 16k is about right

I went to the club yesterday naively thinking I could buy season tickets there and can confirm it was not possible, I talked to the retail manager who explained it is online and via telephone only. I kicked myself for the wasted trip at the time.
So unless the club has changed policy since yesterday it would appear the whole "my dear friend who went..." is likely a ficticious occurence |  | | |
