I’m not really getting the bad feeling towards Cruncher on here.
His comments come across to me as fairly innocuous banter sometimes poking back a bit at some negative comments towards him.

The whole race to exploit some info thing is a bit weird.
How sad does someone have to be to think that someone telling them something gives them some sort of credibility? What else is missing from someone's soul that that's what they hang their hat on?
There's a number of people who get snippets of info and treat it for what it is. They don't think that makes them stars in their own right.

Feck me a bloke I know told me Nugent wasn't coming when it was the main talk on here and everywhere. He only had a kid at the academy but there it seemed to be common knowledge. People chat. Their kids are being trained by ITFC coaches who know other ITFC coaches who happen to know the bloody manager because they work for him.

He'd probably told a dozen people in conversation what had happened at work that day.

A bit like statman, he seems to think he’s some sort of spokesman for the fans, which is also now being fuelled by the fact that Detmer, Berkay and Johnson quote him and like all his tweets etc. | |

Well yep, there is so much going on - am sure everyone is hearing a lot. I was told there were 3 medicals last week but feels as though the gun was somewhat jumped, as Cruncher has here.
But yet rather than say there is going to be a signing, and 5 days later there hasn't been one, the 'fact' that Harper is close is seen as the time to being able to claim you were right......it's very strange.
I don't know where he's getting his info from, but it seems a lot of the same stuff is being recycled around everywhere and every one (guess social media makes that easier, plus WhatsApp) but some are going bigger with it publicly than others.......I guess the difference is for most people if they go big on something and nothing happens for 5 days they would put their tail between their legs rather than claim they are still right! |  |

To be honest, it's all very juvenile trying to look like you are ahead of others regarding transfers.
Fact of the matter is that it's no secret we are in the market for 8-9 players, so not sure why people need to get so animated about being in the know.
We will sign people, I'm happy to hear of signings when they are announced, I don't get all this cock waving from Twitter.
They seem to have this them and us mentality, which is odd given we all want the same for our club, they look like they have seen Arsenal fan TV and want to be like them. |  |
