I think he will do well elsewhere. He's been inconsistent this season but he'll be a much better player for having played week in and week out and having to often take on a lot of responsibility playing as the pivot. His defensive game improved a lot as the season went on but he looked tired, understandably so. It might do him good to have a change of scenery as well. |  |

Yes, you’re possibly right though obviously we’ll need players to cover the first teamers and hopefully anyone who remains from last season will be given a blank slate by Cook. If we do sell Downes we’ll have to replace him. I presume Nolan will be one of the reserves. |  |

He can be inconsistent at this level and get away with it.
Some match winners in midfield would be good.
Can't say I know a lot about him but people who do seem very positive so I'm hopeful this will be a good bit of a business. |  |

He reminds me of Dean Bowditch. Out of the academy, highly rated, very elegant, but struggled to make an impact in most games.
The modern game requires physicality and athleticism and I do wonder if AD can bridge this gap. | | | |

If this comes off it looks like an incredible piece of business. I didn't realise he was as young as 21. He should be good enough to stand out at this level already but the upside is huge as well. Surprised West Brom are considering letting him go for that kind of money. |
