Would be an excellent signing, he’s still only 21, so plenty of time and chance for him to develop.

He’s clearly got something about him, I’ve found a link [below] from two years ago, where he was being linked with Liverpool and Juventus.

Tottenham were competing with us for the signature of Vermund Brekke Skard.

No they were not.

Only a couple of years ago or so Spurs and Arsenal were linked with Dozzell. It doesn't mean a lot at that age as they can develop or go off the boil fairly quickly. I'm not writing Harper off, but just trying to manage expectations. 2 years ago he was linked to Liverpool/Juve, now he's linked to a League 1 club. There may well be a reason for that (or he may well be awesome and needs to drop down to step up again as that certainly happens too).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

They were, he played in a reserve game against Spurs and had a stormer while on trial. Spurs started asking about him so we quickly moved in and signed the man.

Must have been the best game he ever played.

Peaked too early.

Saw him play a number of times. He never looked convincing.

I never said it does “mean a lot”. Merely posting it for people who have never heard of him.

Spurs Made Skard Enquiry 23rd Dec 2005 13:45
Chief scout Colin Suggett has revealed that Spurs made an enquiry regarding Town's new Norwegian signing Vemund Brekke Skard during his trial spell with the Blues. Midfielder Skard played in a reserves friendly against the North Londoners the day before he was offered his 18-month deal by the club. 0

It would be great if we signed him, it does seem far fetched though!

He was terrible. Worse than Marco Holster.
