It’s probably because he has to sell his best players every summer, replace them, succumb to a slow start every season, rocket up the league into the play-offs to only put the new recruits in the shop window to be sold again!

He’s got a point. BUT ... it’s the same in whatever league you’re in in our country. Same 8n the premiership right down to non league football.
Indeed - just looking at National League where 8 of the top 12 have previous league experience and hopes of a resurgence; then there's the bottom half of that division with only 3 clubs that have ever been in the league.
Surely it’s good to have clubs spending money on player at a time when revenue is/has been so little. I’m sure if Oxford had a few assets to sell and us and Sunderland were willing to pay in the millions, the Karl will not be moaning.
