Bolton was probably one of the best to get out off and straight onto the motorway. Coventry took bloody ages.

Get a motorbike. Never have to queue again :-)

Try Brighton. Yes, I know they want everyone on public transport etc but that’s not always feasible. I spent as long getting out of the car park there as I did watching the game.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

The secret with Ricoh is to park in the industrial estate just north of the arena...5 min walk and you're in your motor and away on to M6 ahead of the queue

Depends where in the car park you park.

Taken us over an hour to get of the Bolton car park before.

Worst is Newmarket races after a Friday night meet / gig.

Wigan is very good big car park 2 minute walk from away end and can't remember any problems getting away after the match. It seems a very long time ago that we were able to go to an away game.

Everton is fantastic. Pretty much straight out after the game and on the main road out of town in minutes. (Not if Everton are playing though - but it's a great parking tip for when Liverpool are at home!).

Yep, always park at the opposite ground for those two.

Nearly 6 hours after the start of an away parking thread and still not mention of Gatwick.

Frankly, I'm appalled.

Oxford- know it took some hours to get out but I went through the housing estate and was out of Oxford and back on the M40 in 20 minutes.

Yeah, Reading is a grim one to get to and from. Which is a bit odd considering it's only just off the motorway. You'd have thought they could have improved the roads a bit, but you're fighting with Saturday shoppers all the time there too.

Plymouth OK if you get there early enough to be at the front.

Bournemouth was an absolute nightmare as well.

Agreed but Bournemouth is the equivalent of us sticking a 10000 seat stadium somewhere in between say Henley Road and Dales Road in the leafy suburbs, it never works without traffic chaos.

Elland Rd is pretty good if you know which end to park at, & escape by the "correct" exit.

Portsmouth was good as well, loads of on street parking about 5-10 min walk from the ground park facing the right way and head back up the A2030 to the A3 avoids most of the shopping traffic.
